1. Services Provided
PE Engineer provides professional engineering consulting and drafting coordination services, including but not limited to:
- Structural engineering calculations and drawings
- Sealed and stamped engineering plans through licensed Professional Engineers (PEs)
- Architectural permit drawings
- Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) permit drawings
- Permit-ready construction documents
All engineering seals and stamps are provided by duly licensed Professional Engineers in the applicable U.S. state.
2. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide complete and accurate project information
- Supply architectural drawings, site surveys, and supporting documents
- Respond promptly to requests for additional information
- Verify local permit requirements before engaging our services
Delays caused by incomplete information may extend project timelines.
3. Turnaround Times
Estimated delivery times are provided for planning purposes only and are not guaranteed. Actual timelines may vary depending on project complexity, jurisdictional requirements, and client responsiveness.
4. Revisions
Reasonable revisions required to address building department comments related to our original scope of work are included unless otherwise stated. Additional design changes requested by the client may incur extra fees.
5. Payment Terms
Full or partial payment may be required before work begins. All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are non-transferable.
6. No Guarantee of Permit Approval
We prepare documents to meet applicable codes and standards; however, final approval is determined solely by the local authority having jurisdiction. We do not guarantee permit approval.
7. Intellectual Property
All drawings, calculations, and documents remain the property of PE Engineer and the responsible licensed engineer until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the client receives a limited license to use the documents for the specific project only.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PE Engineer’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the contracting entity is organized, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
